If you follow me on social media, you might have seem my exciting announcement – I’m growing a tiny human! If you’ve been pregnant before, you’ll know how exhausting the first 3 months can be, but now that I’m halfway through I’m enjoying having more energy and hope to spend some time blogging again!
I’ve picked up a fair few new additions to my beauty stash over the past month or so and I’ve been glad to have some new products to test out. First up, I couldn’t resist treating myself (with the help of a discount!) to the Pai Pomegranate & Pumpkin Seed Stretch Mark System. I think when you consider pregnancy skincare, one of the first products that comes to mind are those designed to help prevent and improve stretch marks. I don’t have any stretch marks so far and of course it’s possible I will later on, so I will wait for a full review once baby has arrived! So far I am particularly enjoying using the oil every night before bed and it leaves my bump feeling super soft by morning.
There’s also a couple of other pregnancy products I haven’t got around to using just yet – the Weleda Stretch Mark Massage Oil and Nom Nom Relax Oil*. I think these two will be lovely towards the later stages of my pregnancy when it’s inevitable to get more uncomfortable and need a good massage to help soothe the aches!
I very rarely add new makeup products to my collection as I like to keep it minimal, but since I only owned one lipstick previously I figured another was well overdue! Inika’s Organic Vegan Lipstick in the shade Flushed is a lovely pearlescent pink with a cool-toned slightly plum undertone – it’s a nice one for occasions! I also finally got around to purchasing the much raved about Lily Lolo Natural Mascara. I’ve used it a good handful of times now and let’s just say I can see why so many seem to love it!
The Acure Organics Dry Shampoo is my latest addition for haircare. The popular US brand is newly available here in the UK at Content Beauty and the launch tied in perfectly with me needing a replacement for the Yarok Dry Shampoo. It’s slightly cheaper than Yarok so I’ll be interested to see how it compares – I’ll be sure to post a review once I’ve given it a good trial run.
Update: Acure is no longer available from a UK stockist.
Have you tried any of these products before?
