It’s no secret that INIKA are one of my favourite natural and organic makeup brands. You might have already seen my INIKA Brand Spotlight review before featuring several of their makeup products! When it comes to lip products, my collection is pretty minimal, but I do have a little capsule collection of INIKA’s lip products which I love!
If you haven’t discovered this brand before, they originate from Australia, creating high quality, high performance natural cosmetics. They’re one of the “cleanest” makeup brands on the market and always use a large percentage of certified organic ingredients. Their products are also vegan, halal and cruelty-free, with tubes, pots and brushes made from recycled materials and the packaging is also recyclable too. INIKA have also recently launched a skincare range which I’m excited to try out soon. I can’t help but love everything about the brand!
INIKA Certified Organic Lip Tint Reveiw – Candy
My all time favourite lip product – I’ve lost count of the number of repurchases over the years! This is a light nude pinkish shade with a slightly metallic shimmery sheen. I love that the effect is more subtle (see swatches) and more natural-looking than a lipstick. It’s super hydrating too so you don’t need to use a separate lip balm underneath.
It contains peppermint oil which gives a minty scent and a very subtle plumping effect. The ideal day-to-day lip product to help you look a bit more put together! You can also layer it over or under lipstick or lip liner for added effect.
INIKA Certified Organic Lipstick Review – Flushed
This is one of only a couple of lipsticks I own, usually reserved for special occasions! Flushed is a shimmery pink shade with a cool undertone and it has a super luxe, creamy texture. That silver pearly effect is what makes me keep this one for special occasions! It’s a sheer but buildable colour (which is great for my minimal preferences!) keeps lips moisturised and has a long lasting satin finish. Even when the colour eventually starts to fade, that shimmer still lingers!
INIKA Certified Organic Lipstick Crayon Review – Pink Nude
This is the perfect combination of a lipstick in a lipliner crayon format which makes it really easy to apply the colour while still getting the lip line definition. This one is a highly pigmented opaque dusky pink colour. It looks like it would be a great natural alternative/dupe for the mainstream cult favourite Charlotte Tilbury “Pillow Talk”. Since I’m a subtle lip kinda girl, I usually like to just apply a little in the centre and then blend out with fingers for a more natural tint of colour. It has the creamiest texture with a satin matte finish.
