It’s no secret that natural and organic skincare products can be expensive, so that’s where mini and travel size samples come to the rescue! I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for a skincare mini! I always love trying a smaller size before committing to a bigger purchase. The tiniest ones have enough to make sure you don’t have any sensitivities. Then with some of the travel size minis you often get enough product to last a few weeks to give it a decent trial as well. Plus they’re just too cute!
These mini samples from Antipodes, Pai, Dr Hauschka, Bybi Beauty, INIKA and Tabitha James Kraan have been on rotation from my sample stash for a few weeks. In this post I’ll be sharing some mini reviews with my first impressions of these organic skincare products. Some of the links in this post may be affiliate, which means if you choose to shop through my link I’ll receive a small commission (at absolutely no extra cost for you). Keep reading to find out which products I think are worth a full-size purchase!

Antipodes Organic Divine Face Oil
This is the biggest mini size in this selection – I’d describe it as more of a luxury travel size. The 10ml Divine Face Oil lasted a good few weeks so I managed to get a really decent test run! It’s 97% organic, with they key ingredients being rosehip and avocado oils. It also contains ylang ylang and jasmine which are two ingredients that my skin always loves.
I would describe this one as the loveliest, light face oil! You won’t be complaining of that greasy feeling after using this oil, that’s for sure! It sinks in to the skin effortlessly and keeps the skin feeling hydrated and calm. I’m be intrigued to see if the rosehip improves my fine lines and scars over time when using this in the long term.
If you’re wondering if I’ll be repurchasing… it’s a resounding yes! I can’t think of any downsides to this product and it’s even reasonably priced at £7.99 for the mini, or £22.99 for 30ml. You can find Antipodes at one of my favourite online natural stores Content Beauty.

BYBI Babe Balm
Two beauty bloggers launched this clean skincare brand a few years ago. I’m surprised it’s taken me so long to try out any of their products! I picked up this mini Babe Balm from Naturisimo. It’s a 100% natural and vegan balm for softening any dry patches of skin. Think knees, elbows, cuticles… all the places that often get neglected and can end up cracked and dry! You can even use it on dry lips too.
It’s one of those products that’s ideal for the winter months when it’s cold outside and the central heating dries out your skin. I do prefer balms in glass jars rather than tubes though, so for that reason I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing!

Dr. Hauschka Quince Day Cream
Dr. Hauschka is easily up there among the most reliable natural skincare brands. They have a variety of different day creams for different skin types – the Quince Day Cream is formulated for normal skin. I love a simple skincare product and this cream is light, refreshing and simple!
It sinks in to the skin super quick which makes it an ideal base for makeup. I could probably do with something slightly richer for the winter months, but it works well layered with a face oil too. I would happily use this day cream again!

Pai Back to Life Jojoba & Hyaluronic Acid Hydration Serum
Pai are one of my favourite natural and organic skincare brands. They recently rebranded so I bought a couple of old favourite products which came with the cutest mini samples. There was only enough product for a couple of uses, but to be honest you can’t go far wrong with Pai!
This Back to Life Serum is all about bringing hydration back to dry, dull and dehydrated skin. Even with just a couple of uses, it’s easy to see why it’s one of their best selling products! It’s super gentle and left my skin feeling softer and smoother. I’ll be considering this serum for next autumn/winter!
Pai Instant Kalmer Sea Aster & Schisandra Ceramide Serum
Another Pai Serum formulated especially for sensitive skin conditions like rosacea and eczema. It’s packed with ceramides to help strengthen and protect the skin. Again, the sample was only enough for a couple uses. I tried Instant Kalmer on a day where my skin was feeling a little inflamed and it really did help calm the redness. It’s a little pricey at £49 but I think I’ll keep a sample or two in my stash to use when my skin is feeling extra sensitive.

Tabitha James Kraan Scented Organic Hair Oil
So this one isn’t technically skincare (you could count the scalp though right?!), but I couldn’t help including this cute little sample bottle! This product is designed to give your hair a hydrating boost. It’s multi-purpose too, so you can use it as an overnight pre-wash treatment, scalp treatment, or even use a small amount on dry curls and ends.
This teeny sample of the Scented Hair Oil was only one use, so I tried is as an overnight treatment. The next day, my hair was noticeably less frizzy after washing which is always a plus! The aromatherapy scent was a little overwhelming for me and my sensitive nose though. I’m not sure if I would commit to a full size purchase at £38.00 for 30ml.

INIKA Phyto-Active Botanical Face Oil
If you’re a regular reader, you might have already seen my reviews of INIKA’s organic makeup. I absolutely love their makeup so their skincare range intrigued me too! The Phyto-Active Botanical Face Oil doesn’t disappoint!
This is the ultimate skincare treat, containing a dreamy blend of 18 botanical oils. Everything about it just screams luxury – even this tiny little 4ml organic skincare sample is packaged in a luxe frosted glass bottle! It leaves my skin feeling super soft and bright with a matte finish. The only con for me is the price at £45 for 30ml, but this sample quality impressed me so much I would definitely consider purchasing this one as a special treat!
Do you love skincare samples too? Have you tried any of these products before?
