I seem to be on a roll recently with finding hair products that I love! Yarok are a vegan and all natural brand that have impressed me before with their hair and scalp serum (reviewed here), so it’s no surprise really that I’m loving their leave-in conditioner too!
Feed Your Ends is designed to protect the hair from heat styling with it’s blend of jojoba, olive, grapeseed and evening primrose oils that nourish hair. Even though it contains several different oils, it doesn’t feel heavy or weigh your hair down at all. To use, you just spray over damp hair in even sections, brush or comb through, then style as usual.
The spray has a fresh, zesty scent, although it doesn’t hang around long once it’s on your hair! I rarely use a hairdryer anymore, so I can’t really comment on the effectiveness as a heat protectant, but as a leave-in conditioner in general I think it performs amazingly! It leaves my hair almost completely free of tangles (which was practically unheard of before!) and really helps to soften my hair and reduce frizz.
I only have the small 2oz travel size bottle (£5.50), but with using it 2 or 3 times a week for the past month I still have over half the bottle left. I know the full size 8oz bottle (£19.00 from abeautifulworld) will last for ages at the rate I use it and it’s ultimately really great value for money, so I’ll definitely be investing when this one runs out! It’s also great to know that Yarok donate 3% of their profits to a non-profit organisation that helps protect over 10 million acres of the Amazon rainforest – can’t help but love a brand that gives back and invests in sustainability!
Have you tried anything from Yarok before?
