I’ve always had a good relationship with body butters. Pretty much every single one I’ve tried I’ve loved! Tropic Skin Care’s offering, the Body Love Buttercream* (200ml RRP £20.00), is no exception.
Tropic Skin Care is a brand that has received quite a lot of publicity after founder Susan Ma took part in the TV show “The Apprentice” (I’m sure you’ve heard of it!!). Although she didn’t win, Alan Sugar, the man behind the show, invested in the company to help bring it to where it is today. Tropic focus on plant derived ingredients without artificial fragrance and synthetic materials, making their products vegan and cruelty free.
I’m a total sucker for anything citrus scented so I knew I would like this product as soon as I opened the tub and took a whiff! There’s something about citrus scents that are just so uplifting which is probably why I love them so much!
Not only does it have an incredible scent, it also melts into the skin perfectly leaving no residue in it’s path. I can certainly say since using this most days for a good few weeks my skin is noticeably softer and smoother. There’s still quite a lot of the tub left too!
Although I do love the scent and consistency of this body butter, I don’t think I would repurchase it as, for the price, I would rather go for an option with organic ingredients. I’d be tempted to purchase it as a gift for others though! I’m quite intrigued by the make-up range they’ve just released, although they haven’t listed the ingredients on the website (pet hate!) so I’ll try to find out more info on that one!
Do you love body butters as much as I do?! Have you tried any Tropic Skin Care products before?
