I’ve been so busy lately I’d almost forgotten all about my subscription to SoukSouk’s Little Green Beauty Box. When this month’s box arrived this morning (the postman delivered it to the right house this time, yay!) it was just what I needed for a Monday morning pick-me-up! As always, there’s a selection of products, along with SoukSouk’s Little Green Magazine.
Inside the box:
- SpaRitual Nail Lacquer – Eye of the Beholder (£9.75)
- SpaRitual Handprint Hand Serum 7.4ml sample size (50ml £19.95)
- Essential Care Organic Avocado Replenishing Cream 15ml travel size (£7.50)
- Mistral Verbena Extra Rich Body Lotion 60ml travel size (300ml $25.00)
- Mistral Verbena Petit French Soap 50 g travel size ($3.50)
I think the nail polish I received is one of those shades that you’ll either love or hate – green is one of my favourite colours and I don’t own a shade like this already so I absolutely love it! Also I’m totally loving the matching colour scheme in this box!
I’m not too sure about the Mistral products, and to be honest I’m a little disappointed that they’ve been included in a “green” beauty box. I looked them up and although they do contain some natural and organic ingredients, there are some other questionable ingredients that I know a lot of people would not class as green/natural – to name a few in the body lotion: silicones, synthetic fragrance and petroleum derived ingredients. The soap ingredients are slightly better, but still don’t meet my preferred “green” credentials. Also it has a kind of old lady soap fragrance to it in my opinion (haha!) so I won’t be using either of those products unfortunately.
Overall this box is 50/50 for me, with the SpaRitual and Essential Care products getting a thumbs up. It’s the first box since I subscribed back in December that I haven’t been 100% satisfied with, but even without the last 2 products, I’m still happy with the value of the other products that I will be making good use of!
What do you think of this month’s box? Have you tried any of these products before?
