Let me introduce you to my latest nail colour addiction… metallic, electric purple! Catwalk by Kure Bazaar just might have made it to the top spot as my favourite shade in my nail polish collection! Towards the end of winter, I like to make the most of the darker shades before spring arrives and I’ve been painting my nails with Catwalk almost exclusively for weeks now – I just can’t stop staring!
This is my first nail lacquer from Kure Bazaar, a brand that impressively uses up to 85% natural-based ingredients, from wood pulp, wheat, cotton, potatoes and corn. It’s also free from the usual offenders (formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate, synthetic camphor) you might find lurking in conventional nail polish. The brand has such a fantastic colour range I was having a hard time choosing a shade, but when I spotted this one on half price sale at LoveLula a couple of months ago I couldn’t resist!
For application, the square cap pulls off revealing your standard round cap, which I know a lot of people will prefer for better control of the brush. I find that two coats gives flawless coverage and the formula dries quickly with a shiny finish. I usually notice a few tiny chips after the first day or two which is the one and only downside for me, but it does last much longer if you aren’t lazy like me and take the time to use a good base and top coat!
Catwalk is such a unique and striking shade, I genuinely find myself getting all heart eyed gazing at my nails when I’m wearing it! I’m curious to find out if the wear time varies between colours so I’ll definitely be picking up more from Kure Bazaar soon!
What do you think of Catwalk? Have you tried Kure Bazaar before?
