It can be difficult to find products that live up to your performance expectations when it comes to natural makeup! There’s a really decent selection of light-medium coverage concealers available in the green beauty market, but higher coverage can be hard to come by. That’s where Hynt Beauty DUET Perfecting Concealer comes to the rescue!
I need something with high coverage to improve the appearance of my dark under eye circles, so that’s why concealer was particularly frustrating for me to replace. I’ve tried plenty of mineral concealers over the years that I enjoyed, but still didn’t give quite enough coverage for my needs. Even though I love mineral foundation, I definitely prefer a cream consistency when it comes to concealer and the DUET Perfecting Concealer is exactly that!

DUET Perfecting Concealer Review
I first heard about Hynt Beauty (way back when the brand name was Christoper Drummond) through a few US-based beauty blogs. A friend described this concealer as game-changing and having tried it out for myself I can absolutely agree! Honestly, this is better than any other concealer I’ve tried before, both natural and otherwise. I’ve been exclusively using this concealer for about 6 years now… it really is that good!
There’s currently a selection of 11 shades to choose from for this concealer, from porcelain to deep ebony. I use the shade “Light” which is suited for light skin tones with yellow/beige undertones. It’s packaged in a recyclable glass jar which makes it really easy to apply with either a clean finger or a brush without any waste. My favourite way to apply is to dab in with a finger so it just blends in seamlessly.
The formula is waterless, so the risk of bacteria growth is minimised. It contains avocado oil, aloe vera leaf and cupuacu seed butter to nourish the skin. The ingredients are also vegan, PETA and Leaping Bunny approved and free-from the common undesirables like parabens, talc, mineral oil, artificial fragrance etc.
This concealer has a thick cream texture and it’s very highly pigmented. You only need to use the tiniest amount to get a flawless full coverage over blemishes, redness, dark under eyes and any other discolouration. I mostly use this to conceal under my eyes and it works amazingly well to disguise those pesky purple circles (with only minimal creasing)!

If you haven’t tried this concealer yet, then I highly recommend trying it out for yourself. This is without a doubt the best concealer that I’ve ever used! We’re talking amazing coverage, doesn’t get dry or cakey and such a little goes a long way. It reached HG status the first time I used it and it’s been a constant staple in my makeup bag for years already!
