Becoming more aware of the environmental impacts of beauty product consumption is something we should all be trying to prioritise. Even making a small plastic-free swap like switching to plastic-free natural deodorant can add up to make a difference. We’ve already been using plastic-free deodorants in my house for years now, but of course the beauty blogger in me is always happy to try out different product formulas!
Earth Conscious are one of those brands dedicated to raising awareness of being Earth-kind and encouraging you to limit your environmental impacts. They’re based in the Isle of Wight and have a range of plastic-free deodorants made with high quality, natural ingredients. Their products are all packaged in cardboard or recyclable aluminium tins and are affordable too.
Earth Conscious Lavender & Tea Tree Natural Deodorant
This is one of the few sodium bicarbonate based deodorants that doesn’t irritate my skin! As the name suggests, it has a lovely lavender scent, but it isn’t overly floral thanks to the tea tree.
Luckily, I’ve never been much of a sweater so I usually have an easy time finding natural deodorants that work for me! I find this one really effective and I love the smooth consistency compared to other deodorant creams.
My other half was happy to give it a try too so I asked him to share his thoughts of this deodorant. If you like short and to-the-point reviews then this one’s for you!
8/10 – smells nice and smooth consistency. Easy to apply and doesn’t get on clothes. Less effective towards late afternoon though so sometimes need to apply more. I like it, just wish it was longer lasting.
I’m actually pretty impressed he gave it an 8 as he’s super loyal to his favourite Soapwalla! I might pick up the “strong protection” version as it could give that extra bit of effectiveness that he’s after! Fingers crossed it will be a winner for him as it’s a much more budget-friendly option too!
