Botanicals are one of the few brands that I find myself coming back to again and again. They were one of the first truly natural brands I tried back in 2013 when I switched to green beauty and they had me instantly impressed! Since then, I’ve repurchased their Hydrating Mist several times and the Facial Polish is another one of my favourites (reviewed here). Last month I received the White Grape & Avocado Radiance Serum* which I’d been wanting to try for ages, so I couldn’t resist getting straight on with testing!
This serum is suitable for all skin types and is specifically formulated to help delay the signs of ageing – you’re never too young to start using anti-ageing products right?! It’s rich in potassium (the ‘youth mineral’) and unsaturated fatty acids to promote more radiant and healthier skin. One of my favourite oils, Avocado Oil, is also included in the serum as it’s known for improving the elasticity of the skin by boosting collagen levels.
Considering the high quality ingredients, it actually has quite a middle-of-the-range price compared with some of the other organic serums available on the market (£25.95 for 30ml). All of the ingredients are completely natural and 99% organic (Soil Association certified), so you know it already gets a huge thumbs up from me! You can check out the full ingredients list here.
I’ve been using this serum twice a day on slightly damp skin to help it absorb quickly. Just two drops is the ideal amount for daytime and I use 3 drops in the evening for a bit of extra overnight hydration. It’s non-greasy, sinks into the skin quickly and leaves my skin perfectly hydrated. I can vouch for the fact that it gives radiance to the skin and it also has a calming effect thanks to the inclusion of lavender and chamomile – more of my favourite ingredients! I can safely say this is yet another hit for me from the range! If you’ve not tried Botanicals before, I can definitely recommend adding them to your list of brands to try!
