Body wash tends to be one of those things that I’m always switching around to try something different. The one I’m using at the moment is Balance Me’s Super Toning Body Wash (100ml RRP £9.00) which I got as a freebie with a magazine a while ago.
Balance Me seem to be getting really well known now and is one of the natural brands that is widely available on the high street. I’m already a fan of a couple of their products but I’ll admit I didn’t like this body wash at first! After a few uses though it really started to grow on me and I’ve now been using it for a few weeks.
This body wash is designed to improve skin tone, soften, smooth and encourage good circulation. I’m not sure about any improvement in tone, but my skin does seem to feel softer and smoother since using this (even with the colder weather creeping in!)
It’s made with a blend of juniper, bergamot, geranium and lavender essential oils which give it a kind of spicy herbal-y scent. That’s actually why I was put off at first as it’s a lot different from what I usually like, but surprisingly it’s really refreshing and I like that it doesn’t linger. I would even say it could be a unisex scent. A little goes a long way and just incase you’re wondering it does foam up a little, but don’t expect huge bubbles!
I don’t think I’ll be buying this particular body wash again but I have my eye on the Super Moisturising Body Wash to try next, along with a few of their other skincare products!
