Twice a year, abeautifulworld release a beauty box containing their selection of high performance organic and natural products. You might know that I’ve never missed a box since they first started three years ago, so of course this A/W sampler released yesterday was no exception! I always enjoy trying out their product picks, but before opening it up this morning I couldn’t resist snapping a quick photo of the smiling bag as it has become a much requested tradition!
The pink boxes are reusable which I love to use for giving gifts, and I also have an old one that I keep my nail polish collection in. As always, you get more than your money’s worth with the contents. The sample products included in my box: Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner and Squalane Facial Oil (reviewed here), S.W. Basics Hibiscus Mask, Yarok Feed Your Curls Defining Creme and Feed Your Moisture Shampoo, GM Reverie MILK Anti-Frizz Leave-In Nourishing Treatment, BRAD Biophotonic Ultra Elastin Sculpting Firming Cream Complex, Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream, The Body Deli Melon Peptide Creme Gel and a Birch & Brook “Library” Scented Travel Candle.
The box itself was £20, and the candle alone is worth £18 – it’s not usually what you’d expect to see in a beauty box and although I would have prefered a different scent (this one is not for me as it’s very woody), it won’t go to waste as I think it will make a lovely gift for a friend or relative this Christmas! The full sizes from Josh Rosebrook, BRAD and The Body Deli have pretty hefty price tags (definitely outside my budget!) but it’ll be interesting to sample some high-end luxury products to see how they perform. I’m most excited to try the S.W. Basics Hibiscus Mask which I’ve been meaning to pick up for ages, as well as the Yarok and Indie Lee samples – two brands I already love.
As these boxes are limited edition, they’ve already sold out unfortunately, but you can follow @abw_uk on Twitter, @abeautifulworlduk on Instagram, or join the waitlist for news of future beauty boxes.
