Since making the switch to natural products early last year I haven’t looked back and I’m happy to say it was one of the best decisions! I discovered so many brands last year and even more this year! Some of the products I mentioned in my best of 2013 post are still firm favourites, especially Fresh Therapies Nail Polish Remover and Balance Me Cleanse & Smooth Face Balm, so I had to give them a quick mention again! There are so many products I jotted down to include this year, but I’ve just about managed to narrow it down to 8 products that have outshone the rest!
This is by far my favourite loose mineral foundation! I got my first pot around this time last year and have just repurchased again! I can’t recommend this foundation enough and I think it’s most definitely worth the money for the length of time it lasts, plus the quality and finish!
A must have for anyone who has trouble relaxing and switching off at night. It can sometimes take me such a long time to fall asleep but I’m literally gone within minutes when I use this balm! I actually need to pick up a new one soon – it’s been out of stock in a lot of places in the UK but I’ll definitely repurchase when I can.
This has been a staple for my other half for well over a year now and I’ve been using it occasionally too! It’s one of the few natural cream deodorants that doesn’t irritate either of us with continued use, plus it really works and I love the tea tree scent too!
It’s a bold statement, but this is the most unique and probably the best shampoo I’ve ever tried (and also the most expensive)! It’s formulated with sprouted mineral greens and designed to thicken hair and aid regrowth. I already have long hair, but it’s grown so much quicker since using this shampoo and it also seems to enhance my hair colour!
This concealer easily beats every single “mainstream” concealer I used to use! The coverage is amazing and you only need to use the smallest amount to cover dark circles and blemishes. I just wish it was more easily available in the UK – it definitely pays to have blogging friends across the pond to get hold of this one!
KARI GRAN SKIN CARE SYSTEM* (reviewed here)
Since trying out the starter kit a few months ago, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about these products! I fell in love with the cleansing oil, hydrating tonic and essential serum on first use and they all left my skin looking amazing! The whole skin care system is out of my budget at the moment, but I can most definitely see myself being a loyal customer in the future and I might have to treat myself to at least one of the products soon!
LYONSLEAF BEAUTY BALM* (reviewed here)
I only reviewed this balm last week but it quickly made it onto my favourites list! I love that is has such nourishing ingredients, a little goes a long way and it’s reasonably priced too. I think everyone should have a multi-purpose balm like this in their skincare collection!
YAROK FEED YOUR ENDS (reviewed here)
I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve raved about this leave-in conditioner/heat protect spray. I use this after every time I wash my hair to help detangle, de-frizz and protect my hair if I’m blow-drying it. I love that the travel sized bottles are affordable and last a long time too.
I also couldn’t go without an honorable mention to some more products I’ve been loving recently: Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream, Nvey Eco High Definition Cake Eyeliner, Pacifica Stellar Gaze Length & Strength Mascara, Suti Cleansing Balm and Kure Bazaar nail polish – look out for reviews of these coming up in the new year!
Have you tried any of these before? What have your favourite natural products been this year?
