It had been a while since some new beauty products were added to my collection, so my birthday a couple of weeks ago was the perfect excuse to treat myself! I already knew what I wanted to buy (mostly products mentioned in my previous wish lists) so I timed a few online orders when there were discounts running and ended up saving quite a bit with this ‘haul’; always a bonus!
One thing I’d been lusting after the longest is from Australian brand Nvey Eco. I picked up their High Definition Cake Eyeliner in the black shade for 10% off at Naturisimo. It’s a dense, highly pigmented pressed powder which can be used wet or dry with an eyeliner brush. I’ve been loving this product and really want to try more from the Nvey Eco makeup range.
Another makeup product I couldn’t resist is Lily Lolo’s Cherry Blossom Mineral Blush. This is a loose powder blush in the prettiest shimmery peachy-pink colour! It’s probably more of a shade suited for spring and summer as it gives a bit of a glow to the cheeks, but I love it as it’s quite subtle and blends really well.
You might remember I mentioned the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush in my August wish list and a few people said in the comments that they love this brush, so of course that gave me the extra push to add it to my collection! I haven’t actually used it yet but I can tell it’s definitely denser than the RT buffing brush and I can’t wait to try it out properly.
Moving on to skincare, Balance Me had a vintage sale recently where they were selling products in their old packaging at a big discount. I ordered the Facial Expression Filler and Wonder Eye Cream for over half price which I think is a pretty amazing deal, and I’m so glad I got them as I’ve been really liking them so far!
Finally, I got Acure’s Brightening Facial Scrub which was 20% off on iHerb the other week. I’ve been wanting to try it for ages thanks to the countless number of great reviews I’ve seen! I haven’t had a chance to test it out yet as it only arrived this week but I’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Have you tried any of these products before?
